Nine Moves Morning News To 11AMMonday 24 May 1999 By eBroadcast Staff and agencies.
The Nine Network today announced National Nine Morning News would move to 11.00am from Monday, June 7.
The national 30 minute bulletin, presented by Peter Overton, has previously been broadcast at 10.30am.
"We are moving National Nine Morning News because for the past 24 years 11.00am has been an established news timeslot. There is now a void in this area and we think we can fill it," Nine Network Director of News and Current Affairs, Peter Meakin, said.
"The change of timeslot also gives our news team an extra 30 minutes to produce a more comprehensive bulletin."
