The Nine Network have announced their pseudo replacement for 'The Midday Show'. Nine, conjunction with Woman's Day magazine, both owned by Packer's PBL, with debut 'Woman's Day' on February 22.
The weekday show will rely heavily on the resources of Paramount's 'Entertainment Tonight', with a big showbiz angle.
The program's executive
producer, Lyndal Marks told The Hollywood Reporter, "'Woman's Day' show will be Australia's only daily entertainment program, a
slick, informative show with all the elements of 'Entertainment Tonight' and
highlighting the latest on the Australian scene.".
