Saturday nights will see the Ten Network trying to woo viewers with two new shows; What On Earth and Australian Good Taste.
Both are set to premiere on Saturday August 30 starting at 8:30pm.
What On Earth
is being touted as much more than a shopping show. It's about money and what we spend it on. The show is meant to point to the viewer to the best bargains and some unbeatable, bankable assets.
With reporters Gaynor Martin, Simon Fenner and Steve Williams, they will look at everything from the million dollar apartment overlooking Sydney Harbour or a $13,000 sound system to local handicrafts on sale in suburban markets.
Australian Good Taste
presents the program that takes elemnets from the successful magazine of the same name and turns it into an extremely enjoyable half hour entertainment.
Hosted by Lenore Smith, each episode contains a variety of different segments. "From The Source," presented by Darrly Anderson, looks at the origin of a certain food and the people who produce it. Tania Lacy presents "In My Fridge," a voyeuristic look into the depths of a celebrity's fridge. Craig Bennett presens "Dish Of The Week" where celebrities perform their greatest kitchen skills, and food and wine expert Lyndey Milan demonstrates an easy step-by-step recipe each episode.
There are many more segments being prepared and the producers have promised to bring food, variety, culture, amusing antics, fun and good taste to television screens.
