Former Neighbours starlet and Torn singer
Natalie Imbruglia (pronounced Im-broo-lea. Next week's lesson -
Elmaloglou), currently back in Australia to promote her hit single and
album, seems to have spent way too much time in England.
Her speaking voice, which still has a touch of Aussie 'strine' in it, slips in
and out of an English cockney accent, so at times she sounds like Samantha Fox (Remember Smamfa?). Very odd.
The singer jets off to the US soon to appear on Late Night with David
Letterman. Imbruglia is still touchy about the subject of ex-flame and
Friends star David Schwimmer. Let's hope Dave brings it up.
As Daryl Somers warned her on Hey Hey "You've got to watch
out for Dave!"
