Move over Dawson, here comes VarsityThursday 21 October 1999 By eBroadcast Staff and agencies.
Dawson too young for your tastes? Let's get more mature - does a one-hour drama about a 22-year-old, first-year high-school teacher appeal to you?
Writer John Gatins and executive producers Brian Robbins and Michael Tollin are hoping so. The trio responsible for last winter's teen hit Varsity Blues has signed on to create and produce just such a drama for the Warner Bros channel in America.
Expect this one on Ten next year.
The team is also attached to Paramount's upcoming inner city baseball picture ``Hardball.'
