The Nine Network and Mick Molloy overnight announced to cease futher production of The Mick Molloy Show.
"We took a gamble with this style of show, but in the end, our inability to resolve creative differences has resulted in our joint decision to cease production," Chief Executive Officer, David Leckie said.
"Molloy is a huge star and someone who I rate very highly. I hope we can develop other projects with him and his team."
On reaching the agreement Mick Molloy said, "I met with David Leckie this week and it was apparent to me that the Network had lost condifence in the show I was making for them.
"Rather than exacerbate what has been up to this point a good working relationship with great mutual respect, we have decided to terminate our agreement. I wish David and the Nine Network all the best in the future".
No word yet whether any other network (in particular, Ten) have approached Molloy.
