It wasn't for his lack of trying, after all he did fly to London to pop the big question, however actor Renee Zellweger has turned down her engagement to My, Myself & Irene co-star Jim Carrey.
Apparently Zellweger is nervous that the twice-married Carrey will fall for yet another leading lady, as he so often does. Carrey, 38, was dumbfounded by his Dumb & Dumber co-star Lauren Holly. The couple married in 1996 only to divorce a year later.
Zellweger, in London shooting the film adaptation of Bridget Jones' Diary, first discovered fame opposite Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire.
