Superstar Madonna has become the latest celebrity to go to court over a domain name claim, alleging a web pornographer is holding the madonna.com URL for hostage.

At present, if you want to log into all things Madonna you must enter the not-so-memorable madonnafanclub.com, however, if the pending case is successful, the Material Girl could regain her name.

Madonna has filed the complaint against pornographer Dan Parisi with the United Nation's World Intellectual Property Organisation, the Geneva-based international body that arbitrates domain disputes.
