On Monday the 1st of December at 9:30pm, the Nine Network brings us a one hour special presentation on prostitution in Victoria.
Hosted by Neil Mitchell, the special looks at the oldest profession which was legalised in Victoria in 1985.
Love For Sale looks at the sex culture in Melbourne, particularly St. Kilda which is considered the heart of the sex industry. Over 45,000 people visit prostitutes in Victoria each week and spend over $200 million dollars a year on sex.
The discussions and interviews are very frank and open and reveal much about this controversial industry. The sex workers talk about their reasons for becoming involved, their clientele, their lifestyles and the violence, crime and drugs assoicated with prostitution.
This looks to be a very in-depth and well produced program and is under the very able direction of Executive Producer, Daryl Talbot.
