The new medical drama LA Doctors will debut on Channel Ten Monday July 19 at 9.30pm.
La Doctors, starring Ken Olin of Thirtysomething fame, Matt Craven, Rick Roberts and Sheryl Lee (who rose to celebrity as Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks), concerns four LA doctors who turn their back on the corporate red tape of the hospital system. Their common thread: the desire to practise medicine where the care isn't "managed" and the patients matter more then the bottom line.
Where have we heard that one before?
Also debuting the same night is the hit US reality show Guiness World Records PRIMETIME. Airing Monday July 19 at 7.30pm on Ch10, the show will screen such delights as the world's biggest tumour being removed from a young woman, a man swallowing eight razor sharp blades down his throat, another chap who balances a two-story-high stack of glasses on his chin, and a crazy lass who has the ability to pop her eyeballs out of their sockets.
They're airing this at 7.30???????
