Joan Collins, the still-sultry star who posed naked in a Playboy spread in the 70's, has turned down the stage role of Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate because she doesn't want to strip.
Producers of the smash London show met with the ex-Dynasty star to offer her the part. However Collins didn't hesitate in turning down the role first played by Anne Bancroft in the 1967 film.
The London stage production currently stars Kathleen Turner as the middle-aged housewife. However, as of the end of July, Texan model Jerry Hall will assume the sexy role.
The nude scene lasts for approximately twenty seconds.
