Could Mike Munro be making way for the Perfumed Steamroller?
EBroadcast has learnt on the TV vine that Jana Wendt, host of SBS’s Dateline and a former A Current Affair presenter will return to Nine to front it’s new-look ACA at the end of January, or possibly sooner if major world events occur.
Recently seen around Nine celebrating Sydney newsreader Brian Henderson’s farewell from the network, our sources point at Jana’s appointment coming from high above – Mr Kerry Packer.
Ray Martin will host ACA from early December until the new look is revealed in late January.
Over the past few days, Nine has been rumoured to be totally revamping it’s nightly current affairs show, making it more upmarket and less consumer focussed.
