Perhaps Hey Hey It's Saturday's most loved regular, Jackie Macdonald, will make a special guest appearance on the final edition of Hey Hey It's Saturday airing this weekend.

MacDonald has done little television since quitting the Ten Network's Healthy Wealthy & Wise in the early 90's.

Hey Hey The Final Episode will feature classic moments from the past three decades including Ozzie Ostrich, Jackie Macdonald, Jo Beth Taylor and highlights from popular segments including Red Faces, What Cheeses Me Off and more.

Some big Australian entertainment names will also appear including John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Kate Ceberano, Marcia Hines (will she say her infamous Hey Hey line?), Wendy Matthews, Human Nature, Daryl Braithwaite, Vika and Linda Bull, Vanessa Amorosi, Ross Wilson, Jon Stevens, Dough Parkinson, Chris Wilson, Joe Cammilleri, Merril Bainbridge, Lisa Edwards, Bachelor Girl and Sigrid Thornton.

Daryl will also cross live to Tom Jones in LA for a final chat.

Hey Hey The Final Episode marks the end of one of Australian television's most successful variety programs which began as a cartoon program co-hosted by Daryl and former footballer Peter McKenna. Over the next 28 ears, Hey Hey It's Saturday won 28 Logies with Daryl Somers personally winning the Gold Logie in 1983, 1986 and 1989.
