Is There Any Competition In The Ratings?Thursday 8 June 2000 By eBroadcast Staff and agencies.
Backyard Blitz, Postcards, Friends, Spin City and E.R. – only a handful of the many shows that have helped Channel Nine with its 15th consecutive win this year.
Nine mastered over 32 per cent of all night time viewers, followed closely by what seems to be its only rival, Channel Seven, with over 30 per cent. Ten finished with just third with just over 20 per cent, followed by the ABC with just under 15 per cent. SBS dropped to fewer than 3 per cent.
Channel Seven’s highest winner was the infotainment special, Great Winter Ideas. Channel Ten’s highest rating was for The Panel. ABC scored well with The Bill whilst SBS’s The Dirt Detective won its highest score.
