The cast of the number one show in Australia, Friends, will receive a paypacket worth a whopping US$40 million (AU$70 million) for the next 2 upcoming seasons.
Cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courtney
Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer have agreed to stick with the top rating show until at least the 8th season. Each friend will now take home US$750,000 per episode, a big rise from the paltry US$125,000 per episode fee they earned last year.
