Elizabeth Hurley, the one time partner of Hugh Grant, may never work in Hollywood again!

The model-actor has been threatened with expulsion from the Screen Actors Guild after shooting a non-union commercial in New York during the five-month TV commercial actors' strike. However, according to Hurley's agent Tracy Jacobs, "Elizabeth was completely unaware of the situation because she does not live in America and is extremely apologetic about it".

Many actors, both famous and not so famous, have been striking since May in order to force advertisers to pay residuals to actors in commercials, rather than the flat-rate pay scale.
