Everyone's favourite bear - Humphrey B Bear - is back in action - and this time he's bringing two new friends with him.
The perennial preschool favourite has been on Australian television for more than 30 years and returns to regular TV this week when the Nine Network resumes screening Here's Humphrey at 9am.
The brand new series features two new "friends" - presenters Elissa Elliot (Bob Morrison Show) and Diane Dixon (club singer).
The childrens show is now screened on almost every continent in the world. Here's Humphrey is seen in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, in Sth East Asia and in New Zealand. In addition, Humphrey screens on the giant PBS Network in America (Humphrey features with Melbourne-based American actress Tess Masters for the US series) and features on a major Hispanic cable channel in Latin America, with a Spanish-speaking presenter, Lyari Limon.
Earlier this year Humphrey B Bear joined other icons of Australian children's television - Mr Squiggle, Bananas in Pyjamas and the Play School team - to be immortalised in a series of Australian Post stamps.
