Just don't make him angry

Lots of people were upset when NBC in America canceled the gritty Baltimore crime drama Homicide (seen in Australia on the Seven Network) despite its low ratings, the show enjoyed a rabid cult following.
Those people will be delighted to learn that a new Homicide TV-movie is in the works; Andre Braugher, Richard Belzer, and Ned Beatty are all expected to reprise their roles.
Variety reports that the story will center on the detectives' efforts to find a cop killer. Air date and title of the Homicide flick are TBA.
