It looks like the Grundy organisation is getting back into drama and sitcoms (and it's about time, too).

An in-house production fund has been established, initially comprising of a number of action-oriented series, telemovies and two sitcoms. In addition, the company has already received Film Finance Corporation approval for investment in a children's series, The Search For Treasure Island which has been presold to the Seven Network.

Maybe our local talent will be getting some much-needed work opportunities.
