After giving one of the longest acceptance speeches known to man on the Golden Globes, superstar Barbra Streisand has confirmed she will turn up for her Australian concerts, but they won't be her last.
Speaking backstage at the Golden Globes, the diva-of-all-divas said, "I'll do maybe two more - one in Los Angeles and one in New York" before calling it quits on the concert stage."
She said those concerts and her two New Year's Eve performances at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas were her "swan song." She reportedly received more than $5 million for her work welcoming in the new millennium .
"I just don't like it. I don't enjoy public performances being up on a stage," the 57-year-old star said, adding that she would prefer to direct films so that she did not have to get dressed up.
"I don't enjoy the glamour. Like tonight I am up on stage and my feet hurt," she said.
