The comedian will appear as a grown-up version of Jamie and Paul Buchman's daughter, Mabel, on the final episode of Mad About You

People who like whiny sarcastic women should be ecstatic. The rest of us, well, let’s just say the rest of are going to be doing something else with our time during the finale. Like shaving our bodies, planting corn or saying "hey baby, where's the fire" to passing women.

Oscar winner Helen Hunt, who plays Jamie on the worlds most boring show, will direct the one-hour May 24 finale. After seven seasons on the show, the control freak tells the April 24 edition of TV Guide, "I wanted to be actively involved in the end rather than let it happen to me."

For those of you just tuning in, Hunt was not just talking about one of her love-making sessions.
