Futurama renewed for another seasonTuesday 11 January 2000

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox TV in the States has picked up Matt Groening's Futurama for the upcoming 2000-2001 season.
The network is believed to have ordered up to 22 episodes. The series, which began late last year on Australia's Seven Network, debuted to good ratings on the Fox Network last March.
No word yet on whether the Seven Network will continue the animated series beyond it's present Silly Season timeslot.
