Friends nudge out Maggie DoyleWednesday 23 February 2000 By eBroadcast Staff and agencies.
Lisa McCune's TV exit helped Seven's Blue Heelers to the number two position in this week's primetime TV ratings.
However, Maggie Doyle's death was not enough to push Nine's trusty old Friends off the top spot.
Best for Ten was the Sunday night movie The Fifth Element, whilst ABC did well with Monday's The Vicar of Dibley.
Overall, Nine scored 32.1 for the week, Seven 27.2, Ten 20.4, Two 16.8 and SBS 3.4
