'If I made more money, I could afford nicer clothes!'

You know an actress has become a true star when she discovers the most
essential element of
Hollywood negotiation: if all else fails, throw a fit like a two year old
and storm off the set.
And that's exactly what the Felicity diva did when her recent request for a
raise was probably
met with the reply: "Are you aware the show finished #129 in the ratings
last year, Miss Russell?"
Apparently, $20,000-30,000 per episode just doesn't quite cut it for a
young actress who just recently graduated from a training bra. Russell did
return to the set, but we're not sure if it was because Touchstone TV (who
produces the show) ponied up, or she realized that being the star of a TV
show is better than hitting
the Hollywood unemployment line.
In her defense, Russell did win a Golden Globe last season for all her
whiny neurotic performances.
