One half of the popular cooking duo, Two Fat Ladies, has died.
Jennifer Paterson died today aged 71. She had been diagnosed with lung cancer and died in hospital according to the BBC.
The popular chain-smoker became ill during filming of the fourth series of the BBC's Two Fat Ladies cooking show, seen here on the ABC.
Paterson, who rode her cooking pal Clarissa around in a 90cc Honda motorbike, said in an interview before her death "Thousands die from smoking each year, but knowing this I continue to smoke myself. It is my informed decision."
