Channel Seven has named Chris Bath as the new presenter of Face to Face, the Sunday morning political interview show.
Bath, who currently is the late-night news anchor and has also anchored Sunrise and 11AM didn't even audtion for the role.
Speculation had it that either Glenn Milne, Seven's chief political correspondent, or John Stanley, Sydney Radio 2UE presenter, would be getting the coveted role. Both will stay on as regular panalists for the show.
This is a significant promotion for the talented presenter, who will continue to anchor the late-night news.
Face to Face airs on Sundays at 8:30am.
