There’s an old saying that if you don’t succeed, try and try again. Well, it seems that this is what Seven is doing with Eric Bana.
On Thursday October 9th at 8:30pm, the new “Eric” show will premier. This show appears to be very different from the original offering (thank goodness) with the network executives allowing Bana much more latitude in what he does best.
A new array of characters will be unveiled, including a try-hard magician who can’t seem to take - or make - a trick; a macho FM radio DJ; an inept football coach; and a shonky real estate agent.
Of course the ever familiar Poida will be back. In “Eric”, Poida has his own show-within-a-show and Late Night with Poida will showcase some astonishing and unexpected celebrity guests.
“Eric” will also feature the talents of Michael Veitch (from “Fast Forward”), Bob Franklin (“Jimeoin”), Stephen Curry (“The Castle”), impressionist Fred Rowan, Robyn Butler and Roz Hammond.
