According to super-bitch Joan Collins, veteran actor Diahann Carroll landed her role as Dominique Deveraux on Aaron Spelling's classic eighties soap Dynasty after crashing one of the producer's Hollywood parties.
"She went up to Aaron and said, "I want to be the first black bitch on Dynasty!" Carroll's boldness paid off and it wasn't long before she and Collins were performing their brawls in front of the camera.
"She and I had some good old bitch fights together," recalls Collins, "It was great fun!"
