The Nine Network's telecast of the TV Week Logie Awards Sunday night was a ratings success with over two million viewers.
The 41st telecast, which has been brought back to life by the talented Andrew Denton, were watched by an average of 2,219,764 viewers in the five capital cities.
In Sydney, Nine's telecast from the Palladium Ballroom at Melbourne's Crown Casino drew an average 730,551 viewers with the program reaching a peak rating of 30 (809,000 viewers) at 9.15pm.
In Melbourne, 735,314 people watched the Logies from 8.30pm to 11.30pm with the broadcast hitting a peak rating of 34 (821,000 viewers) at 9.30pm.
The overall result was marginally up on the 1998 Logies, which attracted a five capital city audience of 2,045,745.
Denton has received wide spread praise across the board for his hilarious and often scathing intro sequence, leading some quarters to label him the new Mr Logies.
