One might think the inability to read a cue card would have absolutely no effect on a sitcom actor’s career. Not necessarily true. According to the BBC, Friends vixen Courteney Cox was so nearsighted that she was damn near legally blind, and feared that her inability to read cue cards was threatening her career.

Well, these days Cox is seeing things differently, thanks to the cutting-edge laser eye surgery she recently had to correct her vision. The actress is reportedly seeing her new husband David Arquette differently as well. "I had no idea he was so handsome," she said. That’s funny -- neither did we.
