Cameron Terminates T3Monday 17 July 2000 By eBroadcast Staff and agencies.
To the dismay of many Terminator fans, director James Cameron has confirmed he will not be joining Arnold Schwarzenegger in the third installment of the hugely successful sci-fi franchise.
Cameron, who wrote and directed the first two Terminators, passed up the job for one simple reason - he can't stand to work with his former production partners who own the sequel rights.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the plot of T3 has Schwarzenegger battling a next-generation female terminator.
Production is set to start in 2001.
