NSW’s dynamic victory in Wednesday night’s STATE OF ORIGIN encounter was a huge hit not only within the stadium, but with television viewers as well.

According to ratings released by ACNielsen, over one million viewers in Sydney alone tuned in for the Wide World Of Sports’ exclusive coverage of the game, played at the rain-sodden Suncorp Stadium. The results were up on the first game of the series, when only an average 800,000 viewers watched in Sydney.

Will NSW score an undefeated record this season or will Queensland prevent the Blues from completing a 3-0 sweep? All will be revealed when the STATE OF ORIGIN returns on Wednesday 7th June at Stadium Australia in Queensland.
