Last week in '98 Aussie TV Speculations (see the archive), I pondered the future of former Agro sidekick Anne Maree Biggar.
Since writing that piece, Biggar has indeed resurfaced, and it looks like she is being groomed as Denise Drysdale's replacement on In Melbourne Tonight.
She received a baptism of fire, when, on her first appearance on the show, she was asked to participate in an act with oddball Jim Rose of the Jim Rose Freakshow Circus.
Biggar stood on the back of his head and pressed his face into broken glass. Rose, who has been known to stick nails up his nose and swallow sharp objects, wasn't hurt.
Interestingly, on the same show, an IMT film crew made a surprise visit to the house of one Denise Drysdale to congratulate her on being crowned Moomba Monarch. Surely IMT can't be missing her already - but then nobody wanted her to leave.
