"Babe in Metropolis" is the sequel to the very successful movie and is currently being shot in Sydney. The planned release for the new movie is November 1998.
Around the globe at the Frankfurt Book Fair, merchandising already has gone into overdrive, with publishers being sought for a string of "Babe" children's books linked to the movie.
Also, look for "Babe" soft toys and figurines and possibly stationery and kitchenware.
It looks like the Australian pig is really going to take the world by storm a second time.
