| 'We want our cartoon to be just like 'Jem'!'

Did hell just freeze over? Did the earth stop spinning? Talk about weird. The B-52s in a cartoon? Now KISS, that would have been another story.
Scott Stone, who will exec produce the series with David Stanley and Eve Szurley-Coquillard, seems optimistic about the possibilities, even though we aren't. "Working with the B-52's is sure to make for colorful and interesting
storylines," said Stone.
Colorful? Perhaps. Interesting? Who knows?
Members of the band will provide the voices for their characters, and the show will include musical numbers from the B-52's songbook of such hits as "Rock Lobster" "Private Idaho," "Love Shack," and "Roam."
Stone Stanley Productions currently produces MTV's Loveline and Comedy Central's upcoming The Man Show. Let's hope, if nothing else, this B-52s vehicle will be something fresh and interesting, even though our intuition tells us it will suck.
