70's TV legend Mal Leyland will return to the small screen for a new series of adventures across the countryside. Mal, minus brother Mike, will premiere his Leyland's Australia in the Our World timeslot on Sunday Feb 27 on the Nine Network. Joining Mal will be wife Laraine, daughter Carmen and her husband Robert Scott. "Leyland's Australia is about a real family on the road enjoying the amazing diversity of our country," says Mal. "We show things as they really are." Dispite not having brother Mike onboard for the new series, Mal says he's looking forward to having his siblings contributing a fresh perspective of Australia to viewers. "Laraine and I call upon our 30 years of experience to avoid some of the pitfalls which await first time travellers. We also see things afresh through the younger eyes of Carmen and Robert."
