I reported in a couple of weeks ago that the Seven Network was planning on a new morning talk show with Tony Barber and Paul Duncan as is co-host. Well, it seems that the pilot has been shot and the executives in the Seven bunker are looking at the tapes to see if there is chemistry betweent the two.

I don't want to be the bearer of sad tidings to those in the know at Seven, but why take on the king of the morning talk shows, Bert Newton? Didn't you leave enough bad tastes in the mouths of your viewers with Tony's "Wheel of Fortune" debacle? Are you so insensative to viewers or is this a payback to Tony for placing him in that terrible position to begin with?

Another Alan Bateman move comes back to haunt the network.
