Anne Fulwood Joins Seven MelbourneWednesday 12 May 1999

Seven Melbourne, in a bid to boost flagging ratings for its 6pm news service, has recruited Anne Fulwood from her post at 11AM.
Fulwood joins former fellow Ten newsreader David Johnston in a return to the co-host format. Seven had previously tried to team Jennifer Keyte with Johnston but a falling out with Keyte meant Seven Melbourne's news service was the only solo news for the Network.
It is unclear whether the ailing current affairs program Today Tonight will continue, or if the news with be extended to 1 hour replacing the state-based program.
