In perhaps the most bizarre TV programming clash of the year, both Seven and Nine will put their respective (and popular) Millionaire shows head to head in a battle to win the news war
Starting Monday May 31, Seven will recommence $Million Chance Of A Lifetime at 5.30pm, following All Star Squares. This show had previously aired on Monday nights in a 1 hour format.
Starting Monday June 7th, Nine will recommence Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, once again hosted by Eddie McGuire.
Both shows will lead into the evening news, with Anne Fulwood joining the Melbourne news team in a new look broadcast. Today Tonight remains intact, while Wheel Of Fortune has been blasted off the schedules.
It is not clear how long this run of the Millionaire shows will last.
