Over 2 million Australians tuned into Channel Seven to watch the warts-and-all Michael Jackson interview.
The network said the documentary was the most watched program on Australian television last night.
It had an audience of 666,304 in Sydney alone, while in Melbourne it attracted 536,742 viewers, Brisbane 378,674, Adelaide 201,338, and Perth 233,045.
The network won a national primetime audience share of 38.4 per cent, almost double the audience of second-placed Nine, which had a share of 19.9 per cent, the spokesman said.
